I picked up my '03 954 yesterday and took it for a 20 minute ride tonight. HOLY **** pretty much sums it up!!! I am stunned at the power and handling capabilities of this bike. The last bike that I did any serious riding on wasmy '91 CBR600F2 (which was a great bike). This is truly in a whole other league. I've got a perma-grin on my face right now that'll probably last well into next week. Damn!!!

I live in Monroe, NY (in Orange County) - right near the Woodbury Commons. I haven't been outin a few years, but I used to ride around the Bear Mountain, West Point area. I need to start exploring Orange County a little more, especially towards Pennsylvania.

Where in Jersey are you? Do you ever ride up this way?

central jersey. never rode up there yet, but i've heard good things about the bear mountain area. i plan on going for a ride up there at some point.

Just be good to her, she'll be good to you. They are addicting, so much I might even be taking mine to Alaska. If othing else just to rebuild, clean, customize, and ride the hell out of her when I can. And to think I used to ride cruisers!

 

She really is a fine specimine!
