As far as how to do it, or to see what it looks like on a 954?

I helped my friend do his 260 tire on his busa. That included installing the air ride and everything else that went with it. As far as looks on a 54, i dont know, i guess you could google it and see what you find.

take a 2x4 lay it narrow edge down. Now stand on it and see how easy it is to get it to fall over. Now lay the 2x4 wide edge down and stand on it again n see how hard it is to get it to fall over. thats basically how a fat tire will affect the handling on a bike.

That is a perfect description Playful. I rode my friends Busa before and after the tire and stretch. Completely different bike, its fine for cruising town, or even a highway trip, but i would not want to take it on a twisty ride at all. Stretched 6 inches it still wheelies like a **** though

I have never seen one personally on a 954 (seen several others like busa's and 14's with them). Now there was a guy selling a 954 with the 240 kit on ebay about 2 weeks ago. I think it looks pretty bad ***, 300+ looks horrible to me but the 240 looks real good.

If you concerned about handling and want to drop some coin into you bike....I would suggest BST carbon fiber wheels....the ultimate upgrade

Thanks brooklyn. But if I decide to do the fat tire conversion, I think I'll pretty much through handling out the window.

I'd never do it. My uncle has as 240 on his triumph rocket 3. He says that he can do one hell of a burn out with 2300 cc but the handling sucks.
