wow thank you all that has posted more about Shane. Today is his birthday he would have been 28 years old.

I was a very close friends of shane and i was wondering what you are talking about?? If you can please tell me that would be great.

 

i believe he is talking about shanes name was listed as something different

Sorry for the late reply...I'm new to the forum and just saw this thread...I did not know him or his family, but my heart goes out to them. I recently just lost my best friend two days after Xmas in a car accident, and when I was 12 my 18 yo step-brother was killed on a bike.
(As I write this my eyes are filling with tears)

So I know somewhat what your going thru, but we were all single guys w/o families, so maybe I don't know. I know I've done some real dumb things on my bike because I like to go fast too...so maybe next time I hit triple digits on the speedo, I'll think twice about it and try to remember that the feeling I get whilegoing fast doesn't compare to the hurt I'll give so many people (god forbid) should something terrible happen.

My mom rags on me everytime she sees me because of this, and I tell her, "Mom, I'm 30 andstill single, and I'm doing what I love to do. And I love you always."

And ever since Mike died, I have been telling everyone that I love them because I want them to know that I do should I not have another chance to let them know.

RIP...to all those taken too damn early...
