Has anyone got one of these? How much better is it? Is it worth it?

I know that there are a lot of parts that make our bikes better, however, how is it that a company produced a product like this that is better than stock. I have a lot of faith in Hondas R&D. Why doesnt Honda put something like this together stock if it really imporves shifting like they say it does?
