Default eBay knock off shorty levers

So after reading up I believe I'm going to try out a set of the chinese eBay knock off shorty levers. They seem to be getting great reviews so I figured I would go ahead and set up a thread for them here. I will be ordering them soon but have to decide what color combo would be best. How does everyone feel a gold lever would look on an 02 red/black 954? Will it stand out too much or pull everything together that's already gold on the bike? Right now the brake rotor, caliper, and chain are gold. If I don't go gold then the next choices would be black then red as it tends to look pink after a while. Below is a pic of my bike....but it's from a crappy cell phone camera.

they have some black ones with red accents...those should look good. gold ones would look good too, especially if you ever ended up getting a scotts damper.

Yeah I thought about the black w/red accent ones. I do plan on getting a steering damper as soon as possible bc this bike needs one BAD. I was in a curve yesterday afternoon and rolled on the throttle.....front wheel was trying to lift up and caused a mini tank slapper. It was not a good feeling. I'm going to get the suspension tuned within the week so that should really help.

I would say black or silver(which can easily be polished out to a chrome finish
) or even the gold.

Not overly concerned about fading as I don't take the bike out of the house much. And when it does I don't keep it in the sun for long periods of time. It's very pampered lol. Decisions decisions lol

I'd go with the black with red adjuster.

I just took off the red ones and put the silver ones one(much shinier than the oem silver though). My bikes red wasnt agreeing with my red levers!

I'd go with the black levers plus a set of bar ends and frame sliders..
