yup, its a 954. i think it has something to do with keeping the niche of the original fireblade which was a 900. its stamped 954cc on the side of the engine though.
thats the only thing i don't like about honda. if you ever have to do engine re-builds or if you ever need anything from the factory (like bearings, or main crank stretch bolts), the 929 and 954 parts are together and listed as both 900 parts on the same fiches.

its all good, you ask and you learn. and no thats not me, i wish it was though. thats a cbr being raced in the isle of mann tt. i wish i could do that, but i'm too heavy and not talented enough....

He is just being Modest.....He is pulling your leg. That is a real photo of him trying out some new rubber. The Mfg claims the tires are lighter.....As you can see in the pic. They are clearly much lighter than previous models.....
