Is it necessary? No. Is it one of the best upgrades for our bike? Absolutely. Our front ends get very light under acceleration. I dont have one but have been on a 929 with one. I just didnt justify it enough to purchase one for mine.

YES! It will pay for itself on the 1st headshake....Not only in plastics, but for dry cleaning of your underwear........

it depends....

if you are just cruising around town, not riding hard, then absolutely not for the price...

however, if you get on the gas when riding to the point that you power wheelie off of corners or lights.... then i'd get one.

once you get comfortable with the power to the point it doesn't intimidate you, then i'd probably get one just because you'll be more likely to use that power more often which leads to more headshake.

totally depends on how you ride it, i wish i had one every once in a while when i get the headshake but i usually just end up gassing it to where the headshake goes away.

I haven't found the need for one. Many times you can fix head shake by adjusting your suspension. A book about motorcycle suspension is probably a better investment.

got one for sale for $350 that'll mount right up, its the gold scotts ones. got it like a year ago, put less than 1000 miles on it before i sold my bike (without it on the bike of course). jus buy mine if you're planning on buying brand new to save you some cash since mine almost new anyway. email me at theskater101388@yahoo.com if you want.
