Do 929 and 954 engines just fall apart at 25-30k or what?
I have seen 5 different 929-954 engines around 25k that have gouges in the cylinder walls. I just wonder how common this really is before I waste my money trying to rebuild my 954rr. Is it worth the rebuild or should I be looking for another step? And does the 1000rr share this same issues?
