Ok.....so I made it back from Austin. After putting the switch in my bike never got over 105. That was the highest temp I hit the whole trip. I also put engine ice in the radiator and am running at about 82 degrees while riding. Anyway, great mod a suggest it for anyone living in a hot climate. Engine ice and switch will def keep your bike running cool.

No way. 82 celcius is 178 fahrenheit or there abouts. My bike was running at around 95 to 100. Then put in the engine ice now its at 86. 82 is running down the highway.

Must be Celsius. 105 is Waaaayyy to low. 82C is 179/180F, which is slightly lower than normal. 105C is 221F, normal high end. I try not to even ride mine until it hits 100F.

True. You are all right. I need to change it. I was thinking my gixxer the fan on it did not turn on until 220. Now that I think about it. Still those are pretty good temps. My gixxer ran closer to 200. Man I had quiet the brain fart there. I will change it when I get off of work. Thanks for pointing out my stupidity everyone. Whats funny is it never dawned on me when all the other cuys were talking about there bikes running at 200 or more.
