There is a write up on fork seals in the 954 how to section. Steering bearings are easy, put it together the way you took it apart. Also download the manual as well. Fork seals are a messy job.

yeah i saw the write up.. but there is a big difference watching someone else do it and reading how to do it and then trying it urself... the write up said it is an easy job but i just wanted an opinion from some one that has done it them selves... thanks for the reply tho

The pair mod block off is a very easy mod to do.Lift up tank, remove air box, you'll see where the block off plates go,remove wiring harness, remove pair valve, remove hose going to airbox.Plug up hole in airbox.Install plates tighten down bolts,I also would suggest taping up the left over connector as to cause any issues if any later.Install airbox, fuel tank and go out for a ride. When I did mine about 6 yrs. ago,it took me about an hour to do.

i haven't changed my fork seals out on my 954 - haven't needed to yet. but i've seen a video of a guy that did in 30 min., and it didn't seem too hard, and since there's the write-up, and people that know how to do it on here, give it a go.

If you have any questions while changing your fork seals I can help. Its not that hard but you need the proper tools. I would recommend changing all the bushings if you are going to have the forks apart. Just look at the pics I posted in my write-up when I rebuilt my forks. I purchased a fork and dust seal kit to only find out that the dust seals were too big. I re-used my factory dust seals since they looked good.

So this is why my bike backfires when I let off the gas at high rpms? I thought it was a result of my cut down can.
