Default clean/kleen air mod

Does anyone have a link to a "how to" for this mod? I've searched but come up with nothing of usefulness.

thanks

I thought adding some pics someone might be able to help and see if I am doing this the right way.

A- I believe this is the Pair valve and I think I am supposed to block this off. My room mate put in a 'T' in between his on his F4I, so I am not sure if I am right by doing this.
B- This is the stock hose, not sure if this is supposed to be "T'ed" to the pair valves
C- I pulled off all the CA reg stuff and blocked the ports.
D- This is how it is stock, once again not sure what I am supposed to do with this
E- Based off the service manual these lead to the charcoal canister so I just blocked it off.

So how is it looking? To say the least I am fairly confused bc I am going off of directions from a F4I and a diagram for a kawi 636.

A, B and D are all blocked off by various methods.

C- I left open for the "B line" from the first pic.

Any useful help would be appreciated and all ridicule can be left in your head.

Semi-related, but approximately how much weight can be removed with the removal of the smog stuff and the addition of those cool looking block off plates? Thanks!

Awsome, thanks for these I had been looking for them.

Can you take a picture of your hose routing if you have done this mod? I am still a bit confused on how they get re-routed, or if they even get re-routed.

it's a great mod to do. it eliminates a BS system on the bike. what the PAIR does is take air from your airbox and pushes it into the exhaust ports on the head to burn any unburned fuel on being exhausted from your motor. it saves a little over a pound of weight, it eliminates back-firing, and it if you have a power commander, it allows the tuner to get an accurate a/f ratio for better tuning. - as well as it makes your bike more simple (which we all know makes it more reliable).

its not at all dangerous for your bike to run without one.

if you wrench on your bike often (like texas or like i do), then its worth every penny to do.

here's a pic of mine. they're turquiose. the first pic is from the top side, and the second pic, i took right from the radiator. they're small and free up a lot of room, and as you can see, that's where i have most of my wiring harness since i re-did it.
