OK, so I'm new to the board and I couldn't figure out what to type, but then I happened upon this, and me being the a**hole that I am by nature, I couldn't help but respond...

OUTSIDER... a few things that I would love to point oit to you about your rather ignorant post.

#1: That site is for DRIVERS to pay attention and look for bikes, NOT the other way around, so WTF do you expect the reaction to be? "Oh my god, I didn't know that when I drive I should be more observant for the sake of riders, even though I, myself, ride!!" ???? Is that what you expected?

2: THAT WAS A COMMERCIAL WITH COMPOSITING... it wasn't REAL, so don't expect an outcry of sympathy because there was nobody injured in the making of that commercial.

3: Why are you so shocked that nobody responded? Here's a response for ya... Good commercial, IN ENGLAND!!!!! WTF, it wasn't even shown over here in the US, it's a UK commercial!!!!!

OUTSIDER, this is just my 2 sense heere and I am sure that others are probably thinking something similar...

you said "maybe i should have bought a r1" and "thanks honda owners!!!!!!!!"

My thoughts are, if you are ignorant enough to think that the non-response would ONLY have been by Honda owners, perhaps you shouldn't have bought ANY bike, you probably shouldn't be riding at all.

 

i'll respond and tell you you fu#$%ing suck. why would you want any rider to look at that crap. sell your honda and buy a piece of crap yamaha and go crash it like those people did. just not cool to bring a rider down like that. thanks for ruining our day. ***......

 

As for what you were saying about the 200 dollar ticket. Get as many people to get BikerFriendly.org stickers. They are fighting to get harder penalties to people that severely injur or kill motorcycle riders on the road. Exactly what you are talking about is being faught for.

For all of those chirping, what would you expect to find at "ride2die"? I never looked at the site by choice. Same choice anyone else could have made after lookin at the name! C'mon, we're all a little secretly curious to see what a single **** up can cost us. I think that some of the rants were comin at you from some misguided form of denial being experienced by riders who can't deal with the vulnerable reality we love to subject ourselves to.

 

+1 I figured out within about .1 seconds that I did not want to become more aware of the risks of riding.
