It is a lot. But that's about the norm for a functional full system. It's up to you. I wouldn't spend that much - at all.
You could look at piecing together a full system from multiple wrecked systems. For example, I bought Hindle headers (it's actually about 3/4 of the whole system) for $180 in change. I'm going to match a Delkevic can to it. So I'll have about the same flow as a full system for under half of what that guy wants.
Also, Akropovic as you know, are really nice and VERY expensive full systems. Think about what they cost new. So he is under half of what it costs new.

I have this same "Full" exhaust on my Bike. It is mated to a Power commander with a custom map. The can looks like it has been shortened. The seller is asking too much in my opinion. 58 Cycle is selling this system new for $100 more.
As stated earlier....Full exhausts are getting harder and harder to come by for the 954. But the Akro is top notch in my opinion. It would be interesting to hear that pipe though.

Take a closer look at the sellers picks. The bike itself is a 929 that is ziptied together. The back rim looks like my 6 Yr old changed its shoes. The sensor port on the header looks to be chopped and the photos are trying to hide it. The Carbon fiber hanger is broke. Some of the exhaust springs look like they doubled as fishing weights.....I'd pass.

Is it even an Akrapovic exhaust? The end doesn't look like you usual Akrapovic styling. Could be a something else thats sporting a sticker.
Can is cut and damaged too.
Pass...

phew I feel a million time better about not buying it! I actually offered him 500 and he shot me a response saying "get real" then upped the price from 800 to 890.
such a scam!
so heres the million dollar question and i'd love to here feed back on it
im planning on changing my sprockets to -1/+2 (already ordered) but looking for new chain atm
my bike came with a scorpion bolt on exhaust. i'm trying to get extra "umph" outta the bike.

You will Love the -1/+2 set up! It will wake that 954 right up. You will soon forget about needing an exhaust for that extra HP....I stayed with a 530 set up. Didnt see the need to drop down to 520 to save a few extra lbs at the sake of strength. Mark my words.....You will soon find the need for a steering dampner though.....
PS. Send that seller an email back. Tell him he has managed to butcher a well engineered, handcrafted exhaust. Even at $500 its too much. Tell him to pound sand!
