boiling points
My bike is phocken cooking...Its temps are 200 riding and 217 sitting in traffic. And its not that hot out either we are talking 80 degrees.I think it running a tad lean becauce of the slight herky jerky thing it does at a steady throttle at low rpm.or,It may just be time for plugs they have 20k on em.

Pull out a plug and see if they are burning white, another thing you could try is your pc3. I dont know if you have a dyno tune, or just using your hass map, but you could richen all the rpm ranges up one light and see if that helps some. I know my bike in traffic usually does run above 200 + also, the fan kicks on a lot sitting.

ok so its not just me....i was wondering about that same thing yesterday, i altered where i was going because the way i was taking had alot of traffic, so i turned around and went somewehre else.
then i read about adding a second fan on a switch, thought about doing that to compensate for it.
might still do that actually...i dont want to overheat

I don't see anything wrong with 2 fans. To be honest, if you're romping around NYC it might not be a bad idea - I don't think it would be necessary but I don't think it could hurt, either.
You ever tried Engine Ice? Might give her a go, see what happens. In any case though, everything seems normal so far!
I'd give my right nut to go rompin' around NYC. Okay left nut, me and righty share a bond. That left nut has had his own agenda since day one. Nutty guy...

RE: boiling points
i just got back from a short trip around regular town roads, 35-40 mph
kept the running temp at around 173-175
lights, and slow spots made it go up here and there, getting it to 210 at one point.
its on the cooler side here today, yesterday was alot warmer, and thats when the temps were getting up there quick.
summer isnt here yet, i think i'm gonna do something about it before then.
