Default Bike not starting issue? Please help

So for the past month or so, everytime I get home from a ride, I park the bike and shut it off, and im done.

Next time I go try to ride the battery is dead and the bike wont turn over. clicking noise from battery.

So i charge the battery and then im good to go... HOWEVER, if i ride for more than 20 minutes or so, and i shut my bike off say at a store or something, it wont start up again. I have to push it and pop the clutch in order to get it going again.

I am not that mechanically or electrically inclined, so Im not sure how to text voltages and what not. So based on that, would you recommend a new battery, reg/rec, or stator? All the research i have done mentioned all of those, but I dont want to spend unnecessary money if i dont have to.

Who does right?

I would take your battery to an auto parts store and have them test the battery. Just because you can get the battery back up to the proper voltage doesn't mean that the battery is fully functional to have the correct amperage to start the bike after some usage.

If I had to take a stab in the dark - I'd still guess its the battery. Testing is free at any of the big name auto stores. It wouldn't hurt to start there. Furthermore, unless the battery is fairly new, if it did happen to be any of the other problems you suspect, you would want to change the battery anyways.
