RE: Best Price on Insurance
well I'm 23, this is my first bike, and I have an apt... the discount for owning a home isn't more than 50 bucks for the whole premium anyway. The Honda Riders of America have a discount thats like 10 - 20 bucks a month I hear so check into that with your company.

I'm rockin state farm too. I'm 23, single, no kids, but I get the good grade discount. I have renters insurance, my car, and my bike through them (bike with full coverage) and I pay about 120 a month for everything during the summer. It drops to about 70 a month during the winter when I drop most of the coverage off the bike (still have theft and tipover protection). It depends a LOT on where you live, because I just moved from Milwaukee to Shorewood (rich subdivision four blocks from Milwaukee) and it dropped about 20 bucks a month.
Hope this helps

Geico cycle guard is the best bar none. I have liability plus theft (basically full coverage without collision). Hitting a deer or gravel and dumping it is fully covered if I can prove that it wasn't my fault. My deductable is $250. It runs $200 a year for my 02 954. I'm 32 and married with a clean record (so far). Liability is $99 a year for any bike if your record is clean.

Geico quoted me about 2 grand for the year... I have never had an accident in my life, I'm a collge grad, and I work full time and bring in enough to pay the bike off in full, but I didn't because I didn't have the money at the time... why is my coverage so much higher than everyone elses? I live in Georgia, but I don't have any coverage with them...
