So my 954 is in the shop getting some winter upgrades. exhaust, pc, etc... Two problems my black Arata rearsets are coming on the slow boat from Japan (so I'm told) and my black +2 rear sprocket is on backorder. We've had 3 sunny days in a row eventhough its only 30 degrees but I would love to be out like everyone else I saw today. I have even bought every bike magazine off the shelves to pass the time and Iv'e run out of cbr forums to drool over. This sucks. I bet when I get it back well have another 26 days of continuos rain.

 

That sucks mansorry about the back order hell you are in. Just think how pimp it is gonna be when it is done.

 

At least you'll be able to ride. Here in the Milwaukee suburbs its +12 and snowing out. I haven't ridden my baybe since November. I'm jonsing pretty bad.

... Tell me about it, I had two bikes stolen in three months. So I moved before I bought my next bike!

 

I dont know how you guys go without riding. We have been getting some t storms lately and to pass the time I have to go to my garage and sit on my bikes and make engine noises while I pretend to ride them...

 

That sucks to hear that so many people have their rides ripped off by jacked up low lives. So how does insurance deal with mods? Is it just blue book value of the bikeor what?

Okay. I finally got it after reading it like 5 times. Its late. I'm bored. I can't sleep. Keep your receipts and if the bike gets stolen hand them over to the insurance company. they will give you the depreciated value of the part.

 

Actually progressive gave me 100% of the value of the part for anything I had a receipt for and 80% of the value of a part that I had no receipt for ...I sent in pictures and it was no hastle at all... $3000 worth of extra parts coverage at no extra charge and you can purchase up to $10,000 for not that much more money. I ended up getting back another $1800 on mine without receipts.
