Default Anyone ever deal with a1asportbike?

Ok I ordered a lowering link for my 954 and paid for the three day delivery. Well I've been tracking it has so far, spent two+ days in Ontario CA. WTF? So I emailed the company a1asportbike and they said, "...sorry nothing we can do for you. Try to see if UPS can do something for you..." Maybe it's just frusturation, but here's the deal look below...

04/11/2008 5:44 PM Order and billing recieved
04/11/2008 7:14 Item leaves (That was quick so not the company fault)
04/12/2008 12:24 Arrives in Orlando
04/12/2008 3:25 AM Leaves Orlando
04/12/2008 7:14 AM Arrives in Jacksonville FL
04/13/2008 9:16 AM Leaves Jacksonville
04/13/2008 10:48 AM Arrives in Louisville KY
04/13/2008 3:40 PM Leaves KY
04/13/2008 4:08 PM arrives in Pheonix AZ
04/13/2008 5:12 PM Leaves AZ
04/13/2008 6:23 PM arrives in Ontario CA

Today is the 15th, so who is held responsible for this, UPS right? Who has to honor their word? I'm not too upset about the link not arriving on time as I'm still enjoying the bike ride and all, but come on! I paid like an extra $10.00 or so for the quicker shipping for a reason ya know. Probably just me venting, but now you've heard the story. Maybe you can avoid them or explain to me who's at fault so I know who to E-Mail, or appologize to as I e-mailed them both. Is that Ontario location near you? as in last destination before its on a truck to your door. Sounds like it either got misplaced there so to speak, or the tracking has notbeen updated for some reason. It certainly got from Fla to Cali in good speed.

Agreed, it did get from point A-Ontario pretty quick. And yes, it is the last location before it gets to my door, but who would be responsible for the delay, and who would I talk to about my money? Kinda' seems petty to argue about $10 bucks or so considering all that's going on these days, but I don't want to be the guy that let's it go so they can screw the next guy/gal in line withsomething like this ya know?

Any how, Ontario is about 2.5 hours away, so it's close, but not what my money paid for. I've E-Mailed UPS and I'll put in here what they said. I thought the company would refund me and take their loss to UPS's door step. That to me would have been the better customer service action. Not, "...sorry bud. Notin' I can do for you. Go talk to UPS." I understand they did their part in getting it out but wow. Talk about playing..."NOT IT!" lol

I can't say its the companys fault if they shipped when they said the would, so I say ups is at fault.

how much was the link?

mine was 75 bucks on ebay from PPG!

Dude, shipping is so incredibly fast these days anyway that I wouldn't even bother paying extra. I don't, actually.

In any case, there's not much you can do... assuming you get your part. They have so many rules and reasons as to why it might not be as quick that it's pointless to argue with the fools.

As far as the company shipping it, I mean - what can they do? Put it this way, if you shipped something out and your buyer said it was taking too long, what could you do? Sucks but that's the way it is sometimes... I use USPS exclusively now and I've had less headaches. Only problems I have is getting the addresses right between here, Craigslist and eBay, lol.

The lin was only 75, and my total was 98. I think I paid and extra 12 for the quicker delivery option. I'm not too dissapointed as I said before, I can still ride. I just hate to see my money go down the drain for no reason. You are correct though, nect time I'll just go with regular shipping. No one else ever used this company though, a1a?

I agree, just saying that the company that shipped basically can do nothing after they have shipped it.

Good luck, though.
