Thumbs up Anybody fitted 929 Heli Bars to a 954 ?

..... if so, do they fit ok and are there any issues with tank or fairing clearance etc, also do they work in the same way and give a noticable difference ? I have emailed Heli.com and all they could tell me was that they had a .......

'' different style "riser" portion ''

Not sure what this means but if they fit ok and give a more comfy position then all is well

Getting hard on the lower back? I was thinking the same thing about my 954...I've decided just to strengthen my lower back with excercise....In theory it should make a big difference.

I agree, i think this a nice '' belt and braces '' aproach, but something like Heli's maybe a nice addition to the exercises !!!

64 now and with a bad back, I ended up getting a nice back brace that breaths with you to the point you forget its even there. But what a difference it makes, now if I could only find something for my knees.

Wow, there may come a time when sports bikes are just '' to much '' and will only be able to be used with full calipers and braces !!! Not very ' Casey Stoner ' !

wtf!, you're 64? sorry, that just surprised me, i had you pegged for mid 20's....

right on, you da man for still riding a 954 at 64!

oh, but 929 helis would/should work. hudson, the front ends (triple trees, forks, clip-ons) between the 954 and 929 are practically the exact same

Thanks for the info on the Helibars, i have seen a picture of the ones for the 929 and they do differ a bit to a picture of Helibars for the 954, they appear to sweep back rather than just sit up straight..... still, they should give a bit more height etc.

Thanks for the compliments. When I have my gear, no one knows how old I am...thats half the fun right there, and I'm almost postive they have no clue by the way I ride.
