Default 954 vs F4i

Hi guys, was considering getting an F4i but have recently been looking into the 954RR. Here in Australia the F4i is actually more expensive then the 954RR.

People with the F4i just want too much money for them.

Nice and clean F4i's are being advertised for as much as AU$8000-AU$9000 and the 954's are selling a fair bit cheaper around the AU$7000 mark.

From the brief research I have been doing online, reviews say the 954 is like an F4i on steroids.

Thoughts? I'm 6''1 an about 90-95kg, maybe the 954 would be better suited to me?

Is this going to be your first bike? My advice would be to go and sit on some, ride a few, and see which one feels best to you.

I have a 600 (though it's an RR, not an F4i) and a 954. I love my 954 for the street, but love the 600 for the track (it's much more flickable).

IMHO, the 954 is one of the best bikes Honda ever put in the CBR line. I've got 52,000 miles on mine and never had a problem.

If you're primarily street riding, I'd go with the Fireblade (954).

Yeah cheers for that, will be street ridden, just for fun, not commuting or anything.

Out of the 14 bikes I've owned (lol). The blade was one of my favorites. Wish I wouldnt have sold it... Good all around bike. Wheelies great, isint too uncomfortable for comuting, track rides well, good suspension, etc. Not to mention that color is bad ***!

these two bikes arrent in the same class bro, this is a 600/liter compare. two totally different bikes. both are awsome but still, two different bikes in all catagories. your experience and prefrence should dictate mate...

Both are awesome bikes. Since you have the other listed experience I would say go with the 954. Because of its weight it can still keep up with today's literbikes and it is the most comfortable open-class sportbike I have ever sat on.
