Default 954 Screw fairings question

Hi, I just bought a nice 954RR -03 and it has got new chinese fairings on it, The previous owner said the fitment was not totally 100% so he didnt put all the screws in, Myself am a little worried they might fly off when entering higher speeds so i bought the missing screws at my local shop (wow 20$ for 8 screws!)

The ones i dont understand how to fit is the one in the picture, It is to combine the lower fairing with the upper fairing by 2 screws, when i put them into the hole theres no thread on the otherside they just bottom out and nothing to screw into, Is this because the fairings hole are in the wrong place, or is there suppose to be a nut or some trimclip to screw into in the other side?

I added one picture for easier understanding. Thanks!

There should be a wellnut in the hole for the bolt to screw into. It's a captive nut inside a rubber gromet that spreads itself out into the hole to hold it in place.
