Default 954 Rebuild

Im gettin ready to tear my bike completely apart and do alot of powdercoating and paint. Trying to get rid of the chrome (If interested lemme know). Im not gonna rush this so this will probably go for awhile.....ill throw up some pics and where it is as of today(11 Dec 2010)...... Ill add some old pics before the color it is now. What material is the 3/4 pipe on our bikes (factory)? Think imma run with a center up exhaust......

A problem with exhaust materials is that the manufacturer only needs an alloy of 51% titanium to say it has titanium exhaust. The can itself might only be aluminum, while the piping might be a ti alloy of a higher percentage. I would just have a plate to match the exhaust valve outlet made and custom bend the rest.

I like the look of your 954. I just got mine a few weeks ago and I'm heading down that same path. It would be awesome to have your wheels!
