Did some more work on the bike this evening. Pretty proud of myself. Had a lot of fun, and could not tell you how long it took..... I will do a complete write up for it, its time consuming so it wont be for a few days. Got to be a contributing member of this community.....Here are a few teaser pics, don't mind the mess. Maintenance is a messy job (Diesel track mechanic is my career job). OH YEAH, no help what so ever, I pulled it from the frame with no help or straps. Excuse the mess, if your not a mechanic you wouldn't understand....

Pretty much dead on. No powdercoat for the frame tho. Think im going with paint. As far as the motor no internal work just maintenance/deep cleaning. I seen some of the bikes that look brand new for a 10 year old bike and then i look at my motor and it looks like ****. I wanted to be able to say ive taken this bike completely apart and re-assemblied it for the hell of it. The weather was crappy here in Virginia but all week its been beautiful.....owell, i can wait another month. Im working on a write up for the engine removal but this **** is very time consuming.

yea ive done a few short write ups and even they take forever...
regardless what color you going with on the frame?
its starting to warm up here finally, but we need a good amount of rain to get the salt off our streets
once i get my bike back togehter and am done cutting and making a mess on it i plan on going over it the motor and smaller components with a tooth brush, and the polished parts with some mothers and a polishing wheel

Pimpn!!! You have to be the first one to do this. Check this out. Its called water Transfer Printing. Check out the link for some pics and applications. If your going to strip her down and go for a full rebuild. You need to do this! www.hydrographicsinc.com/hgi/ph1.html
A riding partner of mine went and has his windscreen done on his 919. It was done in a carbon fiber print. I couldnt tell the difference until I went and touched it! The stuff is durable as hell as well! This company is the same people that did the Oregon Ducks helmets for the Championship Game. Check it out!
