Default 954 help

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to help a buddy out that recently purchased a 02 954 that was laid down and left outside at a ranch for about a year. He got a good deal on it. I figured posting here would be the best since the section is model specific. I'm looking for some stock parts to get this thing back on the road. The bike is mechanically soundother than needing new fork seals. Motor runs like a champ and the frame, swing arm and forks are all straight. Looks like the bike could basically use some serious elbow grease a few replacement parts. Here's a list of some of the stuff i definitely know he needs.

Clip ons (the original ones are rusted to hell)
Both levers
upper fairing stay
Looking for stock exhaust
The plastics are messed up (some are cracked others scrathed up, should be able to salvage the right side)

Anyone that has stock parts laying around and would like to sell please let me know. Also wondering if there areany othersites other then Ebay to look for parts. Here are some pics of the bike (the 1000RR in the back is mine). Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks guys,

I've been watching ebay and sifting through craigslist on a consistent basis. Haven't seen ronayers.com before, but looks there are some good deals on there. Whatdo you guys think aboutsand blasting the rust of the clip ons and painting them?

Going to spring for complete fairing bolt kit, both levers, upper fairing stay and mirrors. Considering just goingwith an aftermarket slip-on. Thanks for all the help so far!

wit the sandblasting idea i think it could work since the rust is external. i see u want a complete fairing bolt kit try bikeboltz.com or bikebolts.com one of the two. i bought 2 of the smaller sets (u'll understand what im talkin bout whe u get on there) in orange and white for like 30 a set, but u can get the complete kit for like 50 and they have many colors.
