I find it very comfortable. You sit far forward, but the tank helps support your upper body, so my wrists don't get sore. My other bike is a buell 1125CR and I can ride the Honda much longer than the buell. I haven't owned a sport bike with clipons in a long time, so I have nothing else to compare it to.

It is going to be feel more aggressive than your old F4i. I changed the seat on my 954 to a Sargent seat for the extra comfort on long days and may add some adjustable rearsets at some point. Besides that I can ride all day (300+ miles) with very little discomfort. Some people may hate the riding position of a 954 where others love it. I guess it depends mostly on your height and riding style.

If you are planning on buying a 954 I would try to find one that you can test ride to form your own opinion. I had ridden my buddies 929 many times before buying my 954 so I knew I would be ok with its riding position since the bikes are very similar.

+1 on the Sargent seat. I sometimes do 400-500 miles in a day and I'm fine with that seat. Stock seat hurt the rearend after a few hundred.

I've had both bikes, and to compare the f4i and 954 in stock form. The 954 to me seemed more comfortable.Add a sargent or corbin seat for even more comfort.
