Default 954 code 35

Ok new to 954 but not bikes. just bought it and it is throwing code 35 it has a full micron exhuast and k&n could this be the cause

EGCV and air intake valve fault, download the 954 manual because that fault has about 3 pages of troubleshooting procedures. I believe you can get the manual from www.stephygee.com i think that is the site

How is it running? is it running ok? There is one plug on that egcv plug check to see if it is unplugged. Should be right there above the clutch side sort of behind the frame. Check to see if it may have came loose or competely unplugged.

The bike will run normally with this fault code.

I had the whole process of checking through code 35 typed but this website was f*n up so I typed it out elsewhere and tried to cut'n paste. This website won't let me paste!!

The short version:
First check the servo motor connector. If code, proceed.
Next, disconnect the servo cables. If code, proceed.
Remove the servo motor and attach a 12v battery to the motor to check function. If not functioning, replace. If functioning, well, you most likely don't have the test harness for this next step, so take it to the shop.

I want to try to go threw the wiring schematics to see if I can bypass that sensor to get rid of that ugly hidious thing without the code.....Ill let you know how it goes...
