954 black fairing

954 black fairing
Hey 954rs,
I guess I should start from the beginning. I have a black and red 954rr. The front and tank are black, and the tail and sides are red with black stickers. Well to make it look a little different from the rest, I was going to change out the side fairing with black ones to make the bike all black with a red tail. I went ahead and bought the right side fairing first in the black color with red stickers to check out how it would look. It looked terrible. First off, to make it look half way decent, I would have to remove the decals on the fairing and the tank. Even if I did that, it would look like the tail was off. So I guess I would need to buy a black tail and another hot bodies undertail in black.
After figuring that it would cost more than I want to spend, I have decided to give up on the idea because I real don’t want an all black bike. So I guess I’m going to have to sell it. The good news is that I didn’t remove the stickers on it and the fairing is in excellent condition.
Should sell right? Any one here looking to make there 954 all black, or just need to replace there fairing and what to buy it? Any inputs?

There is a place near me that has a deal where you can trade in your current plastics and get a really nice set of Repsol painted plastics for the 954rr, and that is what I am planning to do.
He can paint your plastics, and he does a really nice job mind you, for about $1200, and another couple hundred to powder coat the rims orange...

Head over to www.georgiasportbike.com and look for a guy named Ignition_Key
His name is Finny, and tell him I sent you. I am sure that he can work a deal and ship out what you need. He did say that he has a set of Repsol plastics sitting there in his shop.
