Default 929-954 plastics swap?

I have a 929 frame with a 954 motor.
i have a new set of 954 plastics i want to put on but im scared i might have a fitment issue.
The sides look like they are lining up perfect but i havent taken the front and back off yet.
i know the rear and upper stay are different on these 2 bikes so im worried.
has anyone interchanged these parts and know what has to be done.
other people tell me the only diff in these 2 bikes is the engine but i know better
any help would be appreciated.
thanks

dude if you have a 929 frame you should have bought 929 fairings...but the sides will match up but you will have to get the 954 upper bracket to make the front end fit...they use the same frames but they use differant motors in those years...so good luck with that ...you may have to do some tweeken..also you may have to drill some holes and weld on some tabs to add the 954 rear on as well..

For some reason the manufacturer is the only people that have figurured out the science of making fairings. I have never come across aftermarket faiing that fit perfect.

i know the front fairing and side fairings will fit cuz i saw an article in two wheel tuner magazine where they put the front and sides on a 929. the subframe and frame of the 929 are different from the 954 so as far as the tail ur probely gonna have to built mountin brackets but anythings possible
