929 or 954
Hello all,
I am new to the forum and I am just getting back into riding after a three year hiatus, couldn't afford a bike and pay for college too. This is no longer the case, seeing as I graduated and have decent paying job, and now I am in the market for another. My last couple of bikes were a cbr600 and a katana 750, right now though I want to move up to either the 929 or the 954. I have ridden the 929, and loved it, but I am leeing more towards the 954, I like the looks and paint better and have heard it is a better bike. Any opinions as to which is better? Also I am looking at a 2002 954 all stock with less than 2000 miles on it for approx. $6900 that I found on the internet at a place called road track and trail in wisconsin, is this a good price and has anyone had any dealings with these folks? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Derek

RE: 929 or 954
I had a serious motorcycle accident in '97, broke both femurs in 2 places, snapping the "*****" off the top of the femur ( actually broken hips I guess) and am still hobbling around after all these years..so I walk like Yoda!!
"Broken my legs are, but spirit is not"[sm=vader.gif]
So I have adapted..I can walk; just have limp..and I just tell the ladies either, " I dont limp because I am injured...!" or
"Men are like parking spaces...the good ones are all taken, the rest are waaaaay out there...but the BEST ones are Handicapped!!!"
