200 series tire
Anybody running a 200/50/17 size tire on their bike? Im thinkin of puttin one on and i know ill have to get used to the cornering but i was wantin to see if anyone has one, if so and you have pics i would like to see it. Also i took the exhaust can off and like the way it sounds but will running strait header hurt the bike? I know ill have to get it re-mapped. Thanks for the help and DO!!! give input.
first off.. i ran a 200 tire.. no big deal.. doesn't really look too much bigger but doens't do to much to handeling either.. also.. straight pipes is just stupid idea in general for any vehicle.. no back pressure is bad for a engine

low blow.... how!?
Why do race cars, race bikes, race trucks, race tractors, race boats, race snowmobiles, monster trucks, all run straight pipes or zoomies if its bad ?
Although now in Bob's defense straight pipes on a bike do sound kinda, well..........like crap imo

I think it sounds bad *** but was just curious to see if it would hurt anything first. But i do know the reason that muscle cars and such run better strait pipe is because the have there own power supply, a bike builds its power off the compression. I think or something like that. Tell me if I'm wrong, that was just something i heard. Do you guys think that if i put a reducer in between the header and mid pipe that it would keep the compression. I know the isnt a tech section but again was wondering.

Your exhaust has absolutely nothing to do with your compression. Your exhaust does however play a huge role in the air intake or otherwise called scavenging. Without getting into a big ordeal here ( you can google it to learn more) your exhaust exiting actually creates about 5-7 psi of pressure that helps suck air into the motor via intake (thats car math though) so you want a good free flowing, but not over flowing exhaust to keep this vacuum optimal. So basiclly if you dont mess with the headers or midpipe too much you should be just fine, removing your muffler or cutting it down etc will not have a drastic effect on performance, however if you want to keep it optimal do get a tune.
Well aside from the noise differences, the differences mostly lies in the tuning of the bike. For riding in the street, it would be annoying as hell.
Buzzing around a track with your knee draggin', straight headers would be badass!
P.S. Who the hell thinks a 190 doesn't look fat... any 190? I got the Pilots on mine and dang it's a fat tire.
