1ST UPGRADE
i went from the same transfer. a 91 F2 to an 03 954. big difference all around after 5 years on the F2. i don't know about the perfomance end of it but the first thing i do is get a pipe on it to hear it talk.
THE BIKE HAS A MICRON PIPE, IT LOOKS LIKE FULL EXHAUST, IT ALL WELDED UP ANYWAY. I HAD A VANCE & HINES ON MY F2 AND IT SIMPLY BOLTED ON. I DIDN'T KNOW IF I SHOULD CHANGE SPROCKETS OR GO WITH PCIII. I DON'T KNOW I AM GOOD TODAY BUT I KNOW IT WON'T BE LONG AND I WILL WANT MORE POWER, OF COURSE COMPARED TO THE OLD F2 THIS IS A ROCKET!!!
I'm sure the sprocket change would be cheaper and you will feel the difference. My friend went up 2 in the rear and down one in the front and it was a noticeable difference than my stock set up. We never made it back to the track to see the change on the time slips. Riding the F2 for so long, I haven't rode a fuel injected with a box, I'm curious what kind of increase it makes.
