08 Cbr 1k top speed?
Ok, this post was created because I was curious what kind of people were actually on this forum.
I do ride a liter bike, but I have been riding for 8 years and it is my 4th bike.
I created a post saying 4 key things. That I was a new rider, had a friend that was giving me
bad information, had just bought a bike that was well beyond my capability and was about to go try and race it.
Much to my dismay, more then half of the replies that I recieved were calling me stupid or
demeaning in some other sort of way. Instead of actually trying to offer good advice.
One person actually told me to go and try to top the thing out!!
To the people that saw a new rider about to make a big mistake and actually replied, trying to
help me out and offer good advice, you are what this forum should be about. A group of people, with a common interest, trying to spread knowledge and help people out. Especially new rider's trying to break into the sport.
To the people that saw a fellow rider about to make a huge mistake, and all you could do was
call him stupid, you are a disgrace to this forum and the sport in general. The rider that
killed himself trying to make a top speed run, probably did so because someone on this post
told him that would be a good thing to do, instead of trying to steer him in the right direction.
This website should do something about those people on here that would rather make fun of their fellow rider's then offer advice!

Bro, Why waste time and energy? At least you got feedback. You mustbe a kid, and that was your attempt to cover it up. Grow up. This is for big boys. This reminds me of that joey situation. See" High spped on a 954" thread
Serious question, punk? You're a troll. Go test the top speed on your bike, punk - and get back to us.
First you say you're a new rider, then you said you've been riding for 8 years and that this is your fourth bike. Which is it, punk?
