I have a bmc race air filter and it does allow more air to flow through it.I have also heard that k&n restricts air for our bikes.There is also a BMC regular filter that works better than stock.

thats what i have, with the pciii, there is a difference...

i drilled more holes in the inner fairings to allow more air as well

 

o btw, its pointless without a power commander, go ahead and get one now, but it could lean you out considerably until then so keep it in the tool box until you get the PC

 

Thanks, yea it's got the complete Erion exhaust and the p/c on it..I will be getting the bmc race filter here in the near future.....I was also wondering about the flapper mod that I've read here about, I wonder if it worth doing.................
