You can paint it, but it will look cheesy. It does tend to flex a bit, so unless you use a paint made for Lexan (avail at hobby stores that do RC stuff) it will crack all up. Your best bet is to get a nice double bubble one that is tinted already.

And....Welcome to the forum!

I painted mine about 2 years and 30,000kms ago with Krylon fusion rattle can ($4 and made to go directly on plastic) and it haven't had one problem.
If you paint the inside then it will never chip and come out looking perfect no matter how bad you put it on.

I would highly recommend it.

I wouldn't....

But paint it on the inside and it will look great and last forever. The windshield doesnt flex enough to worry about cracking. The body work flexes way more and the piant holds fine.

Another thing you might want to think about is your inspection if you haven't done it. I had a solid chrome windscreen that wouldn't pass inspection because you couldn't see through it. Just a thought, but I would def. go with a tint

Or for some of use that actually like to be able to look through it.

yea i dont kow i wana tint it the yellow silver tint because i have the bumblebee color
scheme and i think it would look aswome. but i cant find it and just a yellow paint would look silly and everyone has the black tinted screens. i like to do stuff that isnt dont on every bike i like to be diffrent. if anyone knows where u can get yellow silver tint let me know ill try that i guesstint u can take off easy with paint its alot harder ty to everone
