My 929 is an awesome bike, strong runner. The weather has been awesome here in Central Virginia, i get to get out quite a bit. I used to go to Marcus for the Saturday night car shows, haven't been in a few years since moving south..

 

went from a yzf600r thundercat to a 01 cbr929rr, very big difference, love the bike and going to do some nice mods on it

 

2000 929 here boys! love it! hey while im here does anybody have any mods? and if so do you find that your 929 is rediculous? the reason i ask is because i have a power commander 3, geared 3 up in rear and one down in front, oh and a leo vince pipe, i stepped off a 93 gsxr 1100 to this thing and holy ****! i am blowing everybofy away! my best friend has a 99 TL 1000s and i smoke him like he is sittin still! also smoked a 07 zx 10r easily, it just seems to fast for just these mods, are they that quick stock?

 

Oh yeah, the 929's are deep here. 2001 Erion Racing. Only mods are steering damper, HEL brake lines and Hindle titanium can. Running Dunlop GPA sportmax rubber so far this year med/soft rear, medium front. If anyone has knocked their levers off there are bomb chromed OEM levers on ebay. I just got them in and installed them....excellent. Pics soon, best part is they were $10 + shipping ($13) best deal out there! The only competition for the 929's is a properly ridden litre bike.

 

no kidding. unfortunately i barely have enough time while at work to visit the 2 other forums that i've been on so kind of suck that i can't participate on here more......
whats more scary is that i never find any fellow 929 riders when i'm on the road.......

 

scary but nice! thats what makes us so special brotha! and keeps the heads turnin! love the 929 and with the mods i got cant nobody touch it!

 

I don't think I'd ever git rid of my 929, I ride with a buddy whos got an Erion. He says hes not getting rid of his either! I did just do a 954 swing arm on mine, now I want to do the rest of the frame black as well. Maybe over the winter!

 

Live in rhode island and I own a 2000 white and red 929 and my brother owns a erion. My back has a d&d exhuast and power commander, my brother only has a power commander

 

You in central VA? where about? got sent for Ft. Lee in April, havent found any good routes to ride....maybe you can help bro.
