ok I have been searching for hours.and tools at local dealer will not help.what other honda model clutch will fit 929.found a clutch set for 1/3 of price of stock setup

 

You have to be a little more specific.
By clutch do you mean the Clutch basket and Hub? Or so you mean only the friction plates and steels? Springs?

Odds are that the clutch plates and springs from another model will work,
A quick search of the clutch basket reveals it was only used in 929's and 954's.

Same goes for the hub.

Friction plates will work from 2000 929, 954, and 600RR's from 2004 - 2008.
The special friction plate #5 the first plate you would see after you take the pressure plate off is used in about 30 different honda bikes, including an xr250.

Steel plates are the same for all 900RR models from 1993 - 2003.
