Anyone know what type and size bulbs are the running lights (small) just above the high beams? Want to maybe change to amber LED bulbs, any suggestons on make or where to get them?

 

Looked in the service manual but found nothing.
Found a reference on the internet, but am not sure.
Are they the T10 194 bulbs?

 

Well, after spending lots of time on the internet and pulling a bulb this is what I've found. The bulb is a W5W also known as a 168 (5W). This is interchangeable with the 194 (3W) which is also known as a T10. I went ahead and ordered a pair of 6 LED version from ebay in UV Black light (purple) for $8. Hopefully it will fit, I think so as it's about 13mm wide. The 4 LED version is the same size as the OEM bulb. which is about 9mm wide. PIAA also makes these (was originally going to try the ION amber ones, but thought I would give the UV ones a try first) for a little more in both incandesent and 2 LED versions.
