Default What should I pay for this 929?

Looking at a 2001 929 with roughly 18K miles on it. Bike has a few light scratches on it and on the low right fender has a 1" crack in the fairing. It also has chrome wheels, chrome rear sets, chrome heel guards, polished frame and swingarm, carbon fiber mirror, chrome bar ends, tinted windscreen, alarm, Yoshimura exhaust, undertail, clear taillights, chrome clutch and brake levers, chrome frame sliders. He's come down to $3900 cash firms is that to much or about right? Bike has alot of extras that comes with it. Wanting to buy it but wanna be able to come out on it if I decide to sell.

Anything I should look out for on these bikes. Please let me know ASAP!!!!! Thanks everybody.

Yeah thats a little to much. Just because it has a lot of chrome doesnt increase the value. To me it does the exact opposite. The less work the better. 3900 would be for a bike with rock chips from normal riding, an exhaust and thats about it. Id start at about 32 and pay no more than 35. If you really want it and you have the money to spend then go for it. The miles should not be an issue what so ever.....

Yeah I told him i was wanting to stick around $3,500 and he won't take it. Do you think I could get $3,900 out it this time next year? Do these bikes have ABS brakes and oil coolers?

I picked up my '01 Erion w/ 8k on it for $3300 and it was bone stock.. Sounds a little steep for 18K on it

I doubt it would resale for 39. If it did it would take some time and somebody desperate. No it doesnt have ABS brakes. The only Honda i know with that is the new 600rr and the VFR. And no oil coolers. And for 3900 you could buy my 954....

Mine may be for sale soon and it's no longer stock.. I was just informed I may have to have back surgery in the not so distant future.
