Default What I've done in the past month with my Erion

These are pics of the mods I've done this month to my 929. The only mod I can't show is the flapper valve removed from my airbox, but I can assure you that was out quickly after I purchased the bike

Here she is:

With such a large trunk I had to put the PCIII in it...

This is my Bond 007 style license plate. It's hinged to the tail under the integrated tail light I installed so when I get up to highway speeds it flaps up like so:

It actually goes up a little more than that but you get the idea.

Gear indicator with indiglo gauges, which you can't see because it's daytime.

And these are just a couple pics of my two hogs. The Kat isn't stock either but I'm not going through the mods on that, but it keeps up

Erion Brotherhood[sm=icon_ladiesman.gif].... Looks Good ..[sm=smiley20.gif]... The license plate thingy is cool, but the only problem with that , is when you doing a wheelie they will be able to read your plate.[sm=yikesomg.gif]

BTW .. where did you get the Gear Indicator ??

You can find gear indicators on ebay, the only difficult part is finding one with the correct wiring harness. I just looked and didn't see one on there with the harness, but once you find the right one it's cake from there on. Comes with directions and everything. I had to buy a piece of velcro to attach it though, cheap bastards.

As for the gauge: http://www.bluegauges.com/illumiglo/honda.htm I have #700 which looks really awesome and I'm really happy with the outcome. The installation is pretty straight forward, just a lot of screws.

If you have any more questions, let me know. I'm off to go pick up a 15T sprocket today to drop a tooth in the front!! Cant wait. Thanks for the comments too!!!

Oh, I forgot to add, if you do the hinged license plate place a piece of velcro on the bike by the trunk lock but don't put one on the plate. That way if, heaven forbid, you get pulled over you can say you had it velcro'd down and the velcro came off the plate. The cop had no problem when I told him that since it's about 35 cents to get a piece of velcro. -edit- I didn't get pulled over for the plate...

you said your 98 katana keeps up with your Erion?

I think your blade is down a cylinder or 2!

or you just ride both really slow!

or it doesn't matter because you never go over the speed limit so it wouldn't matter if you were on a kawi 250, that would keep up in that case as well.

Nah, she doesn't keep up with the Erion, but she will keep up with a 600r bike. Until high speed that is, then it's see ya as they drive off. I've revamped the gearing so she takes off but doesn't go too far over 100. But damn she gets there fast lol. I also just found a turbo from a late model eclipse that my friend and I are trying to put on the Kat. I've seen and heard of it done but it's a lot of work. Probably will be a while but I'll post some pics when the work is done.

So it turns out it's a no-go on the turbo. The bike is going to my beautiful g/f and we're repainting the bike hot pink with a ladybug theme. Hey whatever she wants right? Ladybugs... Oh well. At least I still have an Erion right? That makes it ok doesn't it?
