congrats on buying a great bike. the only thing that you need to check is that the two recalls have been performed. there are some older threads on here to view to see if they have been done (punches on the frame.) have fun and be careful. by the way, what color did you get. the yellow over black are the faster ones!

I bought mine about 6 month ago. Unfortunately quite a bit of mileage. (76tkm) but still powerful. Sometimes it won't start that well and engine dies at traffic light. But I guess that's normal because I hardly have the time to go on a longer spin.

I got mine in August after I sold my '00 gsxr 600 and I'm nothing but pleased. One thing I would suggest is getting a steering damper for it. Others don't think it's necessary, but I feel a lot more comfortable with one on there. Hope you enjoy the new bike!

all i have to say is everything i see you guys saying about the 929 i feel and see for myself on the road. flappy front end being the part i like the least about it. my last bike was a 2000 r1 which is most likely in a garbage dump or a wrecking yard at this time. so i got the 929 as a replacement and now looking back on the r1s flaws i see the 929 and a better (overall) bike and sure as **** more reliable.....how do i raise the rear end?
