I got the new conti sport attacks they are a nice soft tire with good performance along with a good price. $245 from the dealer after tax. I heard the tomahawks suck. too

i inherited a black rear tomohawk with a sportmax front from previous owner who was a tomohawk dealer. you can tell that it slows down the steering very badly. as far as grip at speed in a straight line it was average. grip at speed in a corner was ok but i don'ttrust them. when this thing is slicked...and beleive me i'm trying my hardest...i might give the conti sport attacks' a try...btw shinko's seem to be square and crappy as well from what i've heard

Skinko drag tires are very nice and their street tires are nice if you do alot of highway riding. Not the best for road track or hitting the twisties but they're ok. 100 times better than the tomohawkamahaaaa's. We actually sell alot of the Shinkos at our shop. Cheap and for what most people do they work great.

I'm not knocking you dude, but it looks like you got a $10,000 bike parked in an apartment with no garage. At least you've got your priorities straight, and your smart enough to not leave it outside.

he called you baby, twice. he he. Tomahawks are re capped tires which means they're heavier and they are harder compound less grip all they are good for is roastin. hard compound=skidding on stoppies and hard compound means breaking loose on wheelies I run takeoffs and they're great for both

Ok lets end this before it gets out of hand and people start getting pissed. The main thing is that these tires suck and if you need a decent cheap tire try Shinko's.
