Tires
Hey guy's time to replace the rear tire.. Question time.. Reccomendations as far as a replacement?.. This is mainly going to be for sporting around.. so a good sport tire would mostlikely be best.. Currently i have Metzeler 180/55 ZR-17 (73W).. Second part to the question, will i need to change the front tire aswell so they both match?.. the front is in damn near perfect condition with little wear.. Anyways suggestions would be appericiated.. and a good place to buy em .

If you ar not doing any track riding a sport touring tire would be good. You can get alot of mileage out of them plus still have good performance. Pirelli has a promotion going on that if you buy a rear diablo strada, you can get the front for free. I bought my rear from southwest moto tire. The link for the free tire is getpirelli.com.

RE: Tires
Time for me to sound stupid, as I often do .....
Is your bike a 929? That was the bike you mentioned you were looking at some time ago....
The stock tires on these bikes are Front: 120/70ZR-17 radial, Rear: 190/50ZR-17 radial. How did your bike end up with the sizes you mentioned?

Um.. well it has 9600 miles.. so i am assuming a long time ago in a galaxy far far away they were changed.. he said he didn't do it when he owned it, but he'd only owned it for about a year.. and 1,000 miles.. so i dunno.. Although if they did come with 190's that kind of answers my question.. on a stock rim i can fit a 190.. now.. how about a 200?..
