Default Suspension advice

Just curious as to how you guys have adjusted your suspension (front and rear, dampening and compression). How do you ride? please include your weight for reference.

Default RE: Suspension advice

this is a huge topic that won't be done justice here
as books and books have been written on the topic.

the best anyone can do is say: set it up to factory stock
(chance as that it has been dicked with) then ride it. then
start adjusting it to hit your riding.

i am not trying to be unhelpful but these settings are
specific to you, your bike, its condition, the roads, the
day, the kind of tires you are running and their current
wear, what your mother had for breakfast, and so on.

so, stock is

Front
preload: 18mm from the top of preload nut to the top fork bolt.
compression: 1.5 turns from full hard.
rebound: 1.0 turns from full hard.

Rear:
preload: 2nd stop
compression: 1.0 turns from full hard
rebound: 2.0 turns from full hard

When you start to fiddle, I would suggest 0.25 increments. First
start by knowing what they all do. A good site is
