Stupid question !! Answers appriciated!
SO I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY FANS GOING ON WHEN CONNECTED TO THE FAN SWITCH.... AS PER https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-929rr...donate-133239/ I TRIED EVERYTHING ALREADY! STILL NO RESULTS... WHEN I TOUCHED THE FAN WIRE AGAINST THE RADIATOR THE FANS WENT ON NO PROBLEM...
IF I SOLDER THE FAN WIRE ONTO THE THREAD OF THE FAN SWITCH PERMANENTLY WILL IT DAMAGE THE FANS? OR ANYTHING ELSE?? BECAUSE I SEE NO OTHER OPTION BUT CONSTANTLY RUNNING THEM..
SORRY FOR THE CAPS LOCK.. MY CAPS BUTTON IS SHOT.
ALL ANSWERS/OPINIONS GREATLY APPRECIATED. LAST THING I NEED IS MY FANS TO GO TOO..

sounds like it could be a bad ground or a bad temp switch. Start with replacing the temp switch, shouldn't cost too much. Also, check the integrity of your plug itself, could be bent prongs in the plug.
I don't k ow how to replace temp switch any suggestions based off what I just told u
hey 1 sick do you know how to read and follow directions? the book is 25 bucks and tells you step by step how to trouble shoot and replace parts ect... put your mind too it and you can acomplish anything period get rid of the words CANT or dont know . you do know just apply your self!!!
I gave up with this kid THREADS ago. I am with Stealth, this is a motorcycle, not a rocket engine.
Take that to a LICENSED MOTORCYCLE MECHANIC/MOTORCYCLE SHOP if you can't figure it out. The other alternative is to hold the throttle all the way open for 35 minutes. This should see if your radiator work and spark plug change is done well. ::tongue in cheek::
+50 to Volcom and the "shift" key.
Still waiting on the pics/How-To of the topside spark plug change.

don't know what to say then bro. when you manually ground the fan are you using a jumper wire off the fans directly? I'm still thinking its a temp switch. The only possible damage i see with the fans constantly running is shortening the fans lifespan and forgetting to shut them off and killing your battery.
Bad temp sensor or faulty ground between sensor and fan. I read ur other thread an everyone gave u sound advice. Jus connect a switch an turn it on manually. U won't kill th battery cuz u'll jus b using th switch to ground th circuit so it'll turn off when u turn off ur bike. As far as "forgetting" to turn it on, I always keep an eye on th temp gauge even tho my sensor works so I'm sure u can b jus as attentive.
