Street Fighter Done
Well mostly.
As I put in a post here a while back, my HB line failed on me about 6 months ago, and looped out at 15 mph shattering my left leg. I was trying to learn how to catch idle.
Took the last 6 months, and did some work converting my bike from full faring to street fighter. Notable mods are:
Freestyle Ingenuity DBB mounts
Flipped SE Carmichael Dirt Bike Bars
Acerbis Diamond Headlight w/ custom mount
Brembo 16x18 Hand Brake
Steel braided HB / rear brake lines
HoHey Dual Caliper Rear Brake Adapter
HoHey Steering Damper Mount w/ Gixxer Steering Damper
MSR Pro Raptor EZ Pull clutch
Tank Dent
Line-X Paint Job (Line-x of Boulder Colorado)
Freestyle Ingenuity Crash Cage
Freestyle Ingenuity 12 bar
OMR Sub Cage (coolest cat ever)
Under tail kit / integrated blinkers
Custom done mid plastics
Shorty Yoshimura exhaust
Rewired Gauge wiring harness
GP shifting
Kleen air mod
-1 / +5 Regina Chain / AFAM front / Sprocket Specialitst rear
Metzler M1 tires Front / Rear
Speedo Healer
Ok, so what do ya think? Here's some pics.
The Overall look of the lines, and good shot of the Line-x paint job.
Front view, Shows DBB width, Brembo and ez pull.
Good overall view of the lines.
The Shorty pipe, HoHey dual caliper mount, and OMR Sub Cage.
The HoHey 929/ Gixxer Damper Mod
So still have a few things I want to do... But it's up and running again, and the rest of the work will be done as I have the time and energy.
So, what do you all think?

Everyone will agree with me on this.
Someone comes within 4 feet of your parked bike, and they have your complete and undivided attention. 3 feet, and you're grabbing your lid. 2 feet, and you're headed for the door... 1 foot and you're ready to swing. You're screaming from half way across a parking lot if they touch it... and God forgive if they actually throw a leg over....
Well with the amount of protection my bike has now. It's actually kinda cool that people want to touch it, and I let them with nothing more than a glance. It's pretty cool seing people talk about it, trying to figure out what it is. The pictures do it no justice on how glossy and shiny it is. Yet i can drag my key violently across the surface of it, and it doesn't leave a mark.
If a car hit my bike in a parking spot, I'm pretty sure the bike would be ok. Granted I'd still be irked that I'd have to do touch up painting on the cage or what not. But I'm not making a claim.
So yeah. The line-x in my opinion is pretty cool. And combined with the cages, takes a lot of "wtf is going on with my bike" anxiety away when it's not in view.
My 2 pennies.
