Default STEALERSHIPS

I took my bike to the stealership to have a chain put on and I figured since my bike was already there I'd have them change the coolant and the spark plugs. BIG MISTAKE! This is day number 2 they have had my bike. I dropped it off yesterday at 9am. I've called 4 times since then and as of right now all they have done arethe plugs. I will never ever take any of my bikes to the STEALERSHIP again. All I can think of is that they are in aww of the 929 and cant stop starring at it.haha. Thanx for letting me vent. Will for now on do all services myself. It might take a lil longer but O well.

Well in defense of the Stealer, its probably a bad time to drop your bike off, because everyone and there mother is getting ready for the season too...This is why the only reason my bike goes to the hands of a dealer is for the yearly Inspection (and i wait for it there)

I would understand if I just randomly dropped it off but I had to schedule an appointment 2 weeks ahead. So I have already had to wait 2 weeks just to get it there. It dont take more than 2-3 hours to put a chain on, change coolant, and put plugs in let alone 2 days.

What's the yearly inspection run you? That's really a good idea.

Now that I thought about it you probably have to have the inspection for tags right??

Its not by choice, Its a NY State thing..
Cost $6 for motorcycles and cars less then 2 years old ( safety inspection only)
$35 for older cars, because it goes on a dyno and they check emmisions

The STEALERSHIP is called On the Edge in Amherst Ohio. They charged me 114.22 dollars for 2.15 hrs of labor. There was no parts fee because I supplied all parts needed. But like I said I scheduled my appointment for 9am April 14th and didn't get my bike back until 5:30pm today.

Yeah it's busy season for businesses in the business of bikes.

To be fair though, a chain? Come on...

In all honesty this is exactly why it's a great investment for a bike owner to get a few specialty tools and the regular other tools.
