For the looks of it, Its still looks good to me, but this wire that got exposed maybe is the culprit shortening the whole charging system! My Question is, if I wrap it with electirical tape on that exposed wire will i be able to fix this? my friend gave me that advice so im just trying to get a second Opinion, Thank you guys! and More power!! I love this site!

Yes.
Wrap it and see what happens. If that bare wire is shorting to ground you've got a problem. Let us know how you get on.

If the bare wire is touching the engine casing or anything that is directly connected to the negative terminal of the battery then you've got a short circuit, I.e the electrical power that should be going somewhere else is being shorted to ground (negative). Insulate all cables/wires correctly. Faults like this can leave you dead at the road side. Consider yourself lucky that you're still at home.

Ive bought a liquid electrical tape at autozone and covered it with it. you think this will do it?

Wrap that up with some electrical tape (liquid should be fine) and you could even "heat shrink tube" it and then put some electrical tape over it. That should keep it covered up.
