ive read about that stuff... that was also an option. have you used it yet? got any pics of it on something?
@LJ- what paint did you use?

No I haven't used it yet I'll spray it on something later to show you how it looks.

You should use a etch primer first. This will help the paint stick to the ally, it goes on very thin and is see through.
Etch primer can be bought to help adhesion to a variety of surfaces so get the one for ally.
You can also spray two pack clear over the the top of your paint it's as hard as

i did my frame swingarm,pegs and a bunch of stuff with kragen paint and its all fine but do alot of clean coats

that looks good, thats what im going for. although im not sure if i want the frame to be that shiny. i like the factory, matte finish on black frames. how glossy was it before you put clear coat on there?

I used the VHT high temp paint from orileys auto parts

hey LJ, did you paint that swingarm while on the bike? if yea how hard was that todo?

I had the swingarm off at the time I painted it. And it was a PITA. I left the chain on at the time.
