anyone have a oem color code (wiring diagram) for the tail light/turn signal/brake light ?

 

Yea I got one, What do you need?

 

i just need what color goes to what. im sure of the turns and the lp light but i need the color coe for everything else . as far as which colors for the brake light etc . pixs would be great too ... the reason im asking is because the previous owner hacked it all up trying to put in a integrated tail light assembly and now im trying to get it back to stock without the stock plugs

 

it looks like the rear brake light colors are brown with white dash,green,green and yellow dash.licence plate green, brown w/white dash,right rear turn green, light blue. left rear turn orange , green.Hope this helps I don't have a scanner and couldn't get a clear picture of it.I'm also willing to let you borrow my book if you need,I live near Modesto and I could mail it to you.Letme know how else I can help.

 

hey can anyone tell me which wires go into the stock lamp assembly in for the tail lights. i dont have the oem plugs so i have to figure out all this **** and my copy of the manual doesnt have the wiring diagram . also there are 13 wires on the harness and i dont know what the extra "ground" is (its wired green/silver, like every other ground.. yet doesnt act as one when hooked up to a test lamp)

I think the bike runs,it's the rear wiring that's a problem.

 

yea and i still cant figure out that stupid *** 13th wire.. [:@]

 

I'll take my rear cowl off to check those wires and maybe we can compare with what you got.Just give me a couple of days if you're not in a big hurry.
