Default servo motor

my exhaust servo motor constantly runs when bike is running or even when just the key is on does this mean it needs to be replaced?... it never did it for the first two weeks that i had it then when i had to have the main bearing replaced the guy said it was disconnected and my exhaust valve was fully closed so i should notice a huge difference but i didnt so is it even nessary?

I would say that you would notice a difference in the higher RPM's, otherwise it would limit your exhaust flow reducing power. So are you saying your servo is spinning in either direction ALL the time when turned on? If so, I would say it needs replacing.

The servo motor will spit the FI code of 35 (90% of the time). Rarely do they go out and not spit the code. Mine was out but bike had poor response in higher RPM's.....=-)

If its making noice constantly, then yeah u cant rule it out. I was just saying its rare to have it happen. No biggie if it is. Its easy to change out. Fairly cheap prices on ebay or in the classifieds. Just ask around and im sure u can get one cheap.....=-)

Thats why the guy before you unplugged it. It most likely is stuck on and thetroublecode is either notcatching it or he disabled it also.

I've been trying not to say anything concerning goldenboys situation because I just didn't want to be mean. I think the dealership ripped him off by by a lot and the bike ist even worth it. and now its having mechanical issues that it probally had before you purchased it, and this guy just smiles, and is happy as a kid in a candy store.

Forget the HTEV altogether and order a Hass eliminator.... that is so long as you have a Power Commander I guess....
